עת עלה בסערה השמימה אבינו מורינו

אשר זכה וזיכה את הרבים באופן מופלא

בזהירות מאיסור חדש למעלה מארבעים שנה,

רחש לבנו דבר טוב לקרוא בקריאה של חיבה

לכל מי שקיבל תועלת מעבודתו בקודש

ואשר חש כלפיו הכרת הטוב,

להתחסד עמו בחסד של אמת

ולהטיב לו טובה נצחית

ע"י הלימוד לעילוי נשמתו.

וש"ס גמרא עד היארצייט - ה' שבט תש"פ הבעל"ט.

On ה שבט תשעט, we were stunned by the sudden passing of our husband
and father, Rabbi Yoseph Herman zt”l. As the Torah world knows well, Rabbi
Herman revived the ‏מת מצווה of ישן, under the guidance of his revered Rosh
Yeshiva, Harav Yaakov Kaminetzky zt”l, and enabled thousands of people to
keep this precious mitzvah. His work was conducted quietly, without any
desire for remuneration or public acclaim. Now that he has been taken from
us, we are inviting all those who benefited from his labor, and who feel
‏הכרת הטוב to him, to pay him back with a ‏חסד של אמת.

We aim to finish ש״ס ‏משניות in time for the ‏שלשים, (fill in date) and ש״ס
‏גמרא in time for the yahrzeit. Please join us using one of the following
options:

fill in a chart with your choice of mishnayos. If you wouldl like to learn
Gemara please email hermansiyum at gmail.com.
2- In Eretz Yisroel, call Rabbi Yekusiel Herman at 02-571-0229, and leave a
message with your name, contact number, and what you have chosen to learn.

leave a message with your name, contact number, and what you have chosen to
learn. Please be sure to specify mishnayos or Gemara.

Anyone who feels ‏הכרת הטוב to Rabbi Herman, but is unable to participate
in this endeavor, is requested to do any mitzvah within his or her ability,
such as a small amount of tzedaka, a chesed,or any amount of Torah
learning. (The possibilities are endless; these are just a few
suggestions.) It would be a chizuk for the family if you would share what
