Correction to the Chometz Report from Yoseph Herman

In this year's issue of the  Report  called "A Survey of The US Grocery
Scene With Relevance to Purchase of Chometz After Pesach" I wrote that the
sale of the chometz before pesach  by the Jewish-owned grocery wholesaler
C&S was executed under the supervision of the O-U. This is not the case. In
fact the policy of the O-U is not to participate in such sales of the
chometz for Jewish-owned establishments which keep operating and selling
the chometz on pesach. I have not had the chance to fully clarify details
of the actual sale of the chometz by C&S.
