MESSAGE TO MASHGICHIM OF YOSHON AND PRODUCERS OF YOSHON  FOOD

I hope to send the first issue of the Guide to Chodosh to the printer by
mid August. I need from you updates on all facilities that produce
Yoshon under you hashgocho. I may have to delete from the Guide all
earlier listings that are not updated in time. Please contact me with
statements of hashgocho. Please detail which items are included in you
hashgocho. You may fax me at 845-356-5999, email me at

voice message on the Chodosh Hot Line at 718-305-5133.

Note that this year, some bakeries are choosing to use winter wheat
flour (that is always Yoshon) whose protein is enhanced by adding vital
wheat gluten. It is the responsibility of the mashgiach to make sure
that the vital wheat gluten that is added is Yoshon, either stored from
before Aug 08, or made from winter wheat.
