The annual report "A Survey of the US Grocery Scene with Relevance to
Purchase of Chometz After Pesach" is ready for you to download. As in
the past, this report is very different from the Guide to Chodosh. The
Guide is meant to provide practical information to the consumer who
wants to eat only Yoshon. The chometz report is aimed mainly at rabbonim
and others who may find the information useful in paskening on questions
of purchase of chometz after pesach. It is not aimed at the consumer. In
any case, you may download this report by sending a blank email message
to: chometz at sefer.org. (The other email site, moruda.com seems not to be
responding.)
This report is also available for download from our BBS which is
accessed by a dial-up phone modem without the use of the Internet. (If
you have never done this, call the Hot Line 718-305-5133 for instructions.
Printed copies of this report are also available. They will be mailed
free of charge to rabonim, mashgichim and other similar professionals
involved in paskening halacha. For all others, the cost of the mailed
printed report is $1. To request the free report please submit the full
name and address of the rabbi or mashgiach, etc by email or by calling
the Hot Line at 718-305-5133.
Please do not address halachic questions to us. Those should be
submitted to your own posek.
Chag kosher v'someach
Yoseph Herman
