THE ANNUAL CHOMETZ REPORT FROM THE AUTHOR OF THE GUIDE TO CHODOSH IS NOW READY

Each year we put out (bli neder) a report entitled A Survey of the US
Grocery Scene with Relevance to Purchase of Chometz After Pesach. The Guide
to Chodosh has been published to provide practical product information for
the Yoshon-observant consumer. By contrast, this chometz report is intended
mainly for Rabbonim, mashgichim and other poskim. These may be able to use
the technical information about supermarkets that the report contains, to
help them to pasken questions related to where to purchase chometz after
pesach. It is not intended for the individual consumer, who will not find
clear practical guidance in this report. Those who are familiar with
previous yearsreports will see two major improvements this year: (1) many
more supermarket and drug chains are covered than in the past, and (2) the
format of the report on each company has been greatly simplified, making it
easier to learn who owns and operates each company and the names of all of
its subdivisions. We have also included an expanded index.

This report is available in printed form and by email.

To get the email version that is free to all, (the email version is sent in
