Update from the Guide to Chodosh

BULLETIN FROM THE GUIDE TO CHODOSH



The new information is just starting to come in. Here are preliminary 
results. As more information becomes available, I will (bli neder) send out 
further updates.



Fresh bakery products in the East and West USA probably Yoshon up to a 
purchase date of Sept 5. In the Midwest this date was Aug 22.

Oats products probably Yoshon if purchased up to Oct 7

Barley probably Yoshon if purchased up to Oct 1.



Specific brands: Quaker oats, Chodosh packing date is Sept 7.

Goya barley Oct 1.



The printed Guide should be ready around Yom Kippur.



I recently updated the Guide to Chodosh and Yoshon for Mashgichim. This 
contains the technical information that mashgichim need to know to provide 
hashgochos for Yoshon. If you want a copy of this pdf file send a blank E
