As you know from my earlier messages, when I announced at the beginning of
this week that my updated Chometz report was available, in fact people were
receiving last year's report due to a technical problem. That problem has
now been solved. I will repeat below the announcement that I sent out a few
days ago. I ask that you read the instructions carefully. Even this week,
several people sent the request to the wrong E mail address.

_______________________________________________________

My revised report on grocery distributors and supermarkets is ready for you
to request by E mail.
The Guide to Chodosh was written to be used my laymen. By contrast the
chometz report is geared to Rabbonim, to provide information to possibly
help them pasken questions related to the purchase of chometz after pesach.
Those looking for halacha and practical guidance will not find it in this
report.
The printed version of this report is available by US mail. It is available
free of charge to Rabbonim, mashgichim and other poskim. These should send
a stamped, self addressed envelope to to Y. Herman, 20 Sylvan Road, Monsey,
NY 10952. Others may, send $1.50, to cover the cost of printing and
mailing, check made out to Project Chodosh, with your name and
address. The E mail version is identical to the printed version (there is
no charge for the E mail version) except the printed version has an index
added to the back. The index should be useful to find references to
specific supermarket names. You could get the same function from the E mail
version by doing an electronic computer search through the downloaded file
for specific names of interest.
To order the E mail version DO NOT SEND E MAIL TO ME DIRECTLY. Instead,
send an E mail message to:

chodosh-request at jif.org.il

In the message type:
get Chometz.txt

I hope some of you will find this report useful.
Y. Herman
