Correction on General Mills Cereals sold in Israel

A few weeks ago I sent out a message as part of the routine E mail Chodosh
uppdates, regarding General Mills cereals sold in Israel. The message stated
that these cereals have the same Chodosh dates and package date codes as
given for the same cereals sold in the USA. This was based on information
given me directly by General Mills itself. Since then, several of the
readers of my E mails in Israel send me messages to point out that this
information can not be correct. I checked back with General Mills and got
them to acknowledge that they were mistaken. However, I have not yet been
successful in contacting the person who is supposed to have the correct
information. When I get the corrected information, I will send out an
updated E mail message. Meanwhile, please ignore the previously sent
incorrect message regarding General Mills cereals in Israel. I wish to
apologize for this confusion and want to thank those who pointed the error
out to me.
